RENT asks us, how do we measure a year in our lives: “in midnights, in cups of coffee?” I measure my life in scoops: from annual birthday cones at Baskin Robbins to the local custard spot where I first had parent-free tween hangs, from Grandpa’s home-made ice cream to my favorite hand-made creameries, from the Tracy-sized portions of my childhood to double scoops today! Not to mention the college summer I lived on what I thought was frozen coffee from Sonic, only to find out they were actually basically milkshakes (lookin’ at you, Java Chillers!). No regrets!
