Betty and Me (and Drewsky and B)
Aah, Betty Rae’s, what do I love more than thee? Oh, yes, visiting with friends who haven’t been before! I got a double-whammy in this fall with two good friends in from out of town.
To be honest I don’t visit Betty Rae’s near as often as I used to, so I went with one standard and one seasonal: cookies n cream (the best) and peppermint bark, described as “classic peppermint ice cream with a peppermint candy and homemade fudge swirl - one of our most requested holiday seasonals.” (Also, I love that a detailed menu/flavor list can be found online, that’s a newer addition!) What can I say? Good, better, best, including the homemade waffle cone!!! Betty Rae’s is the standard of going out for ice cream in KC if you ask me.
Can’t beat it! But hey, if you wanna try, call me and I’ll try any ice cream!
