Bing Box
Aah, summer. When you’re reading this it’ll be about the end of first quarter for those of us who spend time in traditional school year settings. But last summer I had the great honor of working with a good friend and future (read: current) coworker to help prep me for the school year. One week we took a break from study sessions to get Bing Box!
Bing Box serves soft serve and boba, but their signature dish is snow cream, “an innovative take on Korean shaved ice. . . revolutionizing it by infusing flavors into the snow itself” (description from here). My friend described it as “shaved ice but ice cream.” It was truly unlike any other frozen dairy dessert I have sampled!
I got a thai tea boba and as you know, given a variety of options, I tend to gravitate toward a pre-made flavor rather than attempting to concoct my own, so I went with taro snowcream, which comes with vanila wafers, fruity pebbles, and waffle cookie, drizzled with condensed milk. It was a treat for the senses! Check out Bing Box when you have a chance!
