Sweet EMOtion

After years of anticipation, I finally tried Sweet EMOtion! Emo vegan ice cream, the operation first opened in Springfield and, lucky for me, expanded to KC!

Pictured above is a Shamrock Shake I got last spring. It was great! I need to try just their soft-serve straight-up one of these days as a baseline. My friend got the Jimmy Eat Swirled (below) - oh, did you think I was kidding about it being EMO vegan ice cream? We are the perfect demographic for this theme, ha.

At a return visit, despite my desire to try the plain oat milk soft serve, well, it was right after we saw Barbie, so… I had to try their special, the Barbenheimer shake!

Sweet EMOtion is a hoot, and how wonderful to have an option where everything is vegan/dairy-free! The bar where it operates out of in KC also sells veggie burgers, which loyal readers may remember is one of my faves. Check it out!
