Okay, here’s what you need to know about Springfield, MO and frozen treats. There’s Pineapple Whip in the summer. The people LOVE THEIR ANDY’S. And the Braums fans are very loyal. None of those are bad options! But I’ve HAD all those, too, you know? This last visit, after Ashley’s wedding, after sneaking off to P-Whip, and after dinner with the family, THEN I swung by Mae’s on my way back to my airbnb. Was I hungry? No. Was I energetic? Not even a little. Was I excited to FINALLY try this newer spot? Oh yeah!!

There are two locations in Springfield, and I’ve always thought it looked so cute from the street! I ordered cookie butter gelato but looking at the menu online I’m so sad I didn’t try the butterbeer or spicy chile chocolate! I’ll just have to go back next time I visit Springy. And the staff were so friendly! A worker came over to take my picture with the cutie penguin mural, and I got a huge kick out of their tip jar.
