One More Scoop

One More Scoop opened this year in the southern end of the KC metro, and tragically, this was only my second visit! You know I stan a house-pressed waffle cone more than just about anything, and creative ice cream flavors are the…icing on the cake? How’s that for a mixed metaphor?

I am almost as obsessed with the aesthetic as I am with the taste. The waffle wall! The cone chandelier! The color-changing spoons! Not bad for a lil strip mall in an outer-ring suburb.

On this visit I got Peppermint and Oreo Cheesecake in a chocolate waffle cone. The waffle cone with thrillingly thin and never had any structural problems. It was delightfully crispy. The ice creams were delicious, too! I am getting all the peppermint I can this season. What’s your favorite seasonal flavor?
