Uji Time!
I had a whale of a time in San Francisco, including my first exposure to the long-famous phenomenon, the taiyaki cone!
Now, in my last post you may have sensed a little hesitation about adventurous flavors, but I was so delighted with the fresh (faux) fish feast at my hand in Japantown with friends. I got ube and black sesame soft serve swirled with red bean paste inside the cone, topped with sprinkles and pockys. IT WAS GREAT! But please tell me how I ended up making a big purple mess and my friends did not? LOL
I’m so glad I finally had a taiyaki cone! Cute and delicious!!!
