Waffle Wednesday with a tWist

As you may recall, Betty Rae’s is my low key fave, so how did I go two whole months without entering through those hallowed doors??? I don’t have a good answer to that, but at least the problem has been remedied.

The following flavors arrived during my extended absence and I sampled them all: root beer, strawberry champagne sorbet, oats and honey, creme brulee, and bananas foster. I made a meal out of the last two + a waffle bowl. Which are all the same color as each other but that’s ok. Bananas foster is described as a french vanilla custard with rum-torched bananas, yellow cake, and rum caramel mixed in. For creme brulee, Betty Rae’s writes on their instagram “we’ve added a creamy vanilla custard swirl to the bruleed dark caramel, and it’s unbelievable!” Both were very good and I can’t wait to go back.
