Stay Home: Betty Rae's Wannabe
Here I am, cooped up at home, fridge full of dairy thanks to Hy-Vee pickup, when what to my wondering eye should appear, but Betty Rae’s recipes! Flavors so dear.
To say I dropped everything to make brown butter toasted pecan would… not be an overstatement.
In conclusion? It’s real good but it’s no Betty Rae’s, lol. I think the brown butter sauce made more than I needed for my small batch of ice cream - the texture turned out a little syrupy, and the flavor is WOW YOWZA SWEET. Ha! I like it, but I also can’t wait to go back to Betty Rae’s!!!!
