Stay Home: Caramelized Banana
One more flavor from my favorite ice cream cookbook - Caramelized Banana!
This flavor was fun to make, and I got to officially christen my new pink cookware for their true purpose (i.e., homemade ice cream).
Aww yeah, look at that caramelized banana. Once that’s cooked down, the rest of the process is pretty much the same. This was definitely still ice cream - none of that “freeze a banana for healthy ice cream!” nonsense. Ha!
The verdict? So creamy! Very banana-y. It was good! I made it alongside some of my favorites when my brother and SIL visited. For me, it wasn’t a standout amidst the company of malted dark chocolate or ricanelas, but it was very good.
