Seven Swans Creperie

Boy oh boy, I was so glad to finally try Seven Swans Creperie. Cute AND delicious? Yes please.

Covid disclaimer: As this is published, my area is in a huge huge Covid spike and I do NOT recommend dining in restaurants. (Although I DO recommend eating these crepes! Take them to go!!!) What I can say for myself is, this was a few weeks ago, I remained masked while ordering indoors, I ate outside, and I ate at a table far away from all the other tables next to the bussing station, I used hand sanitizer compulsively. I dunno, it’s hard to know what’s right and wrong these days, but I want to be clear that I’m not like “heyyyyy go eat at restaurants awesome!!!”

Now back to business… the goods! I ordered the pumpkin pie crepe, described on the menu as “creamy organic pumpkin pie filling topped with pie crust crumbles, candied pecans, vanilla ice cream, and cinnamon sugar sprinkle.” (The ice cream is locally made, too.) What can I say… it was even better than it sounds, if you can believe it! Truly a delight for the senses, every bit of it. Crepe? Perfect texture. Pie filling? Exquisite. Ice cream AND whipped cream? Yes please. Crumblies on top? Couldn’t be better.

And like… vibes. I can’t wait to brunch with friends here when it’s safe. The plants! The colors! Help me reach that point one day by 1. wearing your mask and 2. getting crepes to-go to support this place in the meantime! I don’t know how long the pumpkin pie crepe will be around but I know you’ll find something on the menu to your tastes.
