Stay Home: Tiny Donuts!
Long story. So a friend sent me this adorable Japanese mini donut kit for my birthday… in 2017. Due to a variety of life circumstances I was not able to make them at the time, and somewhere in there they got tucked away. Enter… quarantine!!!
Adorable, right?? Only one problem… the instructions were all in Japanese! With some astute Googling, though, I was good to go.
I was concerned about the age of the confection, but it seemed fine. It’s powder that you mix up with water… not a lot to go bad there, I guess. It tasted a little… gummy… but turned out very very cute!!!
So kawaii! (Did I use that word right?) What’s your favorite treat from a different country?
