Sofie's Scoops

My next travels… well, my next travels after SF are unfortunately not to be documented on this page, since while spending time with Bethany in South Carolina for a wedding, I was woefully struck by a tummy ache and could not handle ice cream. BUT. On my next trip after THAT, I got gelato at Sofie’s Scoops!

Sofie’s Scoops is one of my brother and SIL’s favorite local spots in their home of Olympia, Washington, and it was such a delight to enjoy it with them! The business is absolutely charming (for real, peep the “inside scoop” on the website) and the gelato was great, too. Oof, I’m trying not to default to “ice cream” as a generic term here, I know there are people who care about that :)

I got cinnamon and salty butterscotch and they were really good! I loved visiting Olympia and seeing all of Anne and Alex’s favorite places. I can see why they love it so much!
