Sweet Cups

I had a great experience with rolled ice cream not too long ago. I had a different experience with rolled ice cream at Sweet Cups.

I ordered the Cookies ‘n’ Berry, described as Oreo + Strawberry + Vanilla base, and topped it with whipped cream and Oreos. My friend got a green tea base with… I don’t remember what with but strawberry bobas were involved. Everything was all right but especially compared to my experience at Freezing Moo, this was just a little… lackluster?

It was all all right, but the texture of the rolls seemed off (and the employees seemed to struggle in concocting them). Maybe the temperature of the frozen surface wasn’t right, or something about the ice cream base was the wrong consistency? I was not impressed with the wilted whipped cream or hand-torn Oreos, either. Also the VIBES WERE WEIRD, and the smell inside the restaurant was questionable. We sat on a bench outside facing Bigot Chicken (you know). It was… a time? But the good news was we saw Zola right before and THAT was a good time!!
