Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Ok, here’s the deal. I went to a Royals game and got a blue raspberry limeade and an accidental double order of French fries and an ice cream. I have no idea what the vendor of the ice cream is called (a sign read “KC Baking Company” which is impossible to google) but here’s the stadium dining guide and it was on the first floor behind the diamond club (?). Let’s get into it!

Nitro ice cream! Give me a cold stone, give me a rolled ice cream, love when you’re making my ice cream right in front of me. This may have been my first exposure to nitro ice cream, though… and it was an admittedly very cool visual! Check out the “smoke” (dry ice) rolling off that mixer!!!

Now, I’ve said before that I get overwhelmed by endless options, and here the options were brief. Three base flavors: chocolate, vanilla, or mango peach. I went with mango peach to try something novel, and it was scrumptious! Very light and summery! Mix-ins, though, were also limited… oreos, m&ms, and sour patch kids, maybe one or two others but that was about it. I’m still a very casual observer of fruity candy so I went with oreos and I tell you the FACE this very polite and professional TEEN made when I ordered my mango-peach oreo concoction! ha!!!

It wasn’t a bad combo! I don’t know that I’d recommend this exact mix but the oreos were fresh and crunchy, and the mango-peach ice cream was a hit. Both halves were good hahahaha. Which combo would you have made from those limited options?! Oh - and for a buck or two more you can get it in a wee plastic Royals cap!
